Sheffield-born Tom plays a key role as the Head of Pensions and Projects. He joined Lifetime in 2011 and has thoroughly enjoyed the journey so far.
Asked what he liked best about his position, Tom replies: “Feeling like we genuinely help give people a better retirement, and collaborating with all of the business on the project side.”
One of his important projects has been the development and launch of the Lifetime App, which he is determined to ‘make the best it can be’.
And what does he like best about Lifetime in general? “The people, and the fact that we are always looking to get bigger and better. Innovation is a key part of the company ethos. We never stand still.”
His favourite work memory? “Filming Lifetime’s now infamous pension advert video – that was a fun day! The footage is buried on YouTube somewhere!”
Tom is married and has two young children who like to keep him on his toes.
Tom was on the books of Leeds United as a schoolboy, signing for them when he was 13.
He still loves his football, both watching and playing, and is always on the look-out for doing something active, whether it is with a football, running, or going to the gym. He also likes going to his favourite place, Bradfield, in the countryside near where he lives, so he can run or walk the dog.
Also high up on the list of Tom’s personal preferences are music and listening to podcasts.
