Our Corporate Technical Director Rupert has chalked up 18 years with Lifetime.

“I started as a financial planner and still am,” says Rupert, ” – but I’m also now involved in the ‘direction’ of the company. through my role as a director.”

The best thing he likes about his role? “The client interaction and having some fun – finances aren’t always without fun!” Rupert says. As for the organisation in general, Rupert hails ‘the working atmosphere and teamwork’.

His favourite Lifetime memory was the ‘Black & White Party, Christmas 2013 I think’.

Rupert is originally from Leicester and now lives in Huddersfield, along with his wife Sam, two teenage daughters Ellie and Hannah, and dog Fletch.

In his free time he enjoys travelling with his family, dog walking, reading and watching rugby.

“As a former half-decent rugby player I have developed a rather wicked sense of humour from spending time in many rugby clubs. Not everyone ‘gets me’ but it wouldn’t do for us all to be the same,” laughs Rupert.

He describes his favourite destination as ‘any beach on any Greek island’.

As for his professional and personal passions, Rupert says: “I am dedicated to helping as many people as possible to enjoy a fulfilling, long and well-lived life. From a personal standpoint nothing matters more to me than my family – not even Leicester Tigers!”

And a final word?

“I’ve always operated on the basis that ‘everything will be alright in the end, and if it’s not alright – it’s not the end!'”
