Oscar, the Barnsley hospice mascot sponsored by Lifetime, is set for his Oakwell debut tomorrow!
Oscar will join Barnsley FC’s official mascot Toby Tyke on the pitch prior to the SkyBet Championship fixture with Nottingham Forest.
Their appearance in front of the Reds’ fans is to promote Let’s Club 2gether – an exciting partnership between Barnsley FC’s Community Sports & Education Trust and Barnsley Hospice to raise essential funds for both charities.
A joint fundraising football tournament, called Let’s Club 2gether Charity Cup, has been arranged on Friday, May 9 at Oakwell (kick-off 4pm).
The winning team and the team who can raise the most money for Let’s Club 2gether will both be awarded a corporate box for a future Barnsley home game.
Each match will be 7-aside with teams of 10 players to include substitutes. All teams are required to pay a £400 registration fee (£40 per player) and all players must be 18+
