Tuesday was certainly treat day at Lifetime House!
A good number of Lifetimers, having been inspired by the rallying cry of colleague Sheila, got into the kitchen over the Bank Holiday weekend, in order to take part in the Lifetime charity bake-off!
All the entries were homemade, with Sheila checking very closely that none of them had an Asda, Co-op, Sainsbury or Tesco tag on them!
The guest judges were our former work colleague Anne and her friend Mary………..!
Both very kindly popped into the office on Tuesday morning to sample the bakes and make their choices – and are pictured below with the top four bakers.
The winning bake proved to be the ‘Princess’ buns that were made by Lucie, while Tamsin came second with her ‘Despicable Me’ buns; Elaine was third with her beautiful cheesecake; and Sheila was fourth with her classy carrot cake.
For after the presentation took place, the bakes were available to buy, with the money raised going to charity.
