Digital coach James revels in his role of ‘helping people take control of their finances and achieving the futures they want’.
His best Lifetime memory (so far at least) came at the 2022 company Christmas party – “a good laugh all round with good people.”
What he likes most about working at Lifetime is ‘the people, and the fact that you’re not a number, your opinions are valued’.
Barnsley born and bred, James is a FA qualified football coach and is the manager of a Sunday League football team in Mexborough that is linked with a mental health charity.
He also has a season ticket for Barnsley FC – and their home ground of Oakwell is his favourite place to go…well if the Reds are winning he says!
Other interests include watching football on television, reading about different coaching tips/philosophies to improve his football coaching skills, and spending time with his family.
Asked what he is passionate about both professionally and personally James responds: “Football and helping people be the best they can be.”
To finish James was keen to stress: “Never follow anyone else’s path. Unless you’re in the woods and you’re lost and you see a path. Then by all means follow that path…!”
