The second Lifetime Bake Off – staged in aid of Sport Relief – proved to be a sweet success on Friday (March 18).
And once again Office Manager Lucie Haxby proved to be the ‘Mary Berry’ of Lifetime – winning the competition for the second successive year, this time with her entry ‘chick, chick, chick, chick, chicken, lay a little egg for me’.
Runner-up was trainee accountant Annabelle Dickinson with ‘The Easter Bunny Visits The Carrot Patch’ – and third place went to office administrator Elaine North with her ‘Barnsley Bunny’.
Sadly for office administrator Mathew Leech, he followed in the footsteps of director Bill by this year taking the ‘wooden spoon’ – namely last place – for his ‘Just One Is Un Oeuf’ concoction……!
The Bake Off attracted special judges in former Lifetimers Barbara and Pat (pictured below with some of the contestants).
The event certainly brought plenty of fun and laughter to Lifetime House – and also raised £110.56 for Sport Relief.
Well done everybody!
Can Lucie complete the hat-trick next year?
We’ll keep you posted!
