Lifetime workplace wellbeing event proves a smash hit!

Lifetime news

As a passionate advocate of wellbeing, Lifetime is always looking at ways of ensuring that our people, and all those organisations we partner with, feel happy and valued within the workplace.

On Wednesday afternoon we put our work commitments to one side for a few hours in order to enjoy a Lifetime Workplace Wellbeing and Social event, held at The Venue, Storthes Hall near Huddersfield. Building and cementing relationships, having fun, holding great conversations, trying different things…

Many thanks (and congratulations) to the Lifetime social team of Annabelle, Ione and Corey for their superb efforts in putting on such an excellent set of activities, which had been voted for by the staff and included giant inflatable games of:

  • Darts
  • Penalty Shootout
  • Basketball
  • Giant Buzz wire
  • Gladiator

There was also a 9-hole mini golf course outside, plus indoor games of table tennis and pool.

For lunch, the Lifetime team got to learn how to roll out pizza dough and decorate their own pizzas – while there was an arts and craft section where they could take part in glass painting and spring wreath making.

To finish off a lovely day the whole team took part in one big game of family fortunes!

It was a thoroughly entertaining occasion, which the whole Lifetime team enjoyed, and the feedback has been tremendous:

  • “So much fun! Loved it!”
  • “Had a great day yesterday at my first Lifetime social event at Storthes Hall Park. It was nice to step away from the day job for the afternoon and get involved in various activities with colleagues. The highlight of the day was making our own pizzas for lunch!”
  • “We all loved it! Well done the social team, a lot of effort clearly went into the day.”

We are already looking forward to the next one! 😀

Here are some of the photos from a very worthwhile afternoon:
