Barnsley Hospice chief executive Matt Wright paid a visit to Lifetime on Thursday morning – and departed with a cheque for the hospice coffers and a commitment to our ‘Barnsley Businesses Inspiring Students’ venture.
Matt popped in to see Lifetime Communication Director Bill Bottomley and Social Media Manager Andrew Lodge, to discuss his participation in the BBIS project.
Matt has kindly agreed to become our latest speaker in the ‘BBIS stable’ – and is already looking forward to going into schools and delivering ‘his story’.
And making it a double delight was the opportunity for Bill to present Matt with a cheque for £510, the latest amount raised Lifetime’s hospice referral scheme (https://www.lifetime-fm.com/lifetime-in-the-community/hospice-referral-scheme/).
- Taking into account referral scheme donations to other hospices up and down the country, and Lifetime’s sponsorship of both the Barnsley Hospice’s annual golf day and their mascot Oscar, the total amount the company has given to hospice causes is now fast approaching £10,000.
