Penistone Grammar School has joined the growing number of schools who are embracing Lifetime’s ‘Barnsley Businesses Inspiring Students’ scheme.
Stuart Turner, owner of sushisushi.com (pictured below), was the first BBIS member to speak to the school’s Year 11 students at a special event recently – and will be returning in January to speak to Year 9s.
And now Andrew Painten (https://www.lifetime-fm.com/bbis/andrew-painten) has been booked in to deliver his story to the Penistone GS Click Digital Leaders Group.
Andrew (pictured below) is an experienced television and video producer, and the director of Fluent Films, based on the outskirts of Penistone.
Enthused Diane Cusworth, the Subject Leader of Computing at Penistone GS: “I am extremely excited that Andrew will be coming in to speak to the PGS Click Digital Leaders group.
“He has appeared in the credits of shows such as Top Gear (personal favourite!), Countryfile, Bang Goes the Theory and Gardeners World and has experience in both director and editor roles.
“He will be discussing his roles and experiences with the students and talking to them about a few things which they can do to take their PGS Click videos from a school technology review which was filmed to a professional looking show.”
