Susan Skelton

Pension Administrator

The most important thing to Sue is her family. She feels blessed that her and husband Brian have a wonderful son and daughter.

As their son lives in Spain this coincides with Sue’s next passion: travel. Her love of travel started when she was 21 and went to New Zealand to visit her boyfriend, now husband, who was there playing football.

Part of the pleasure of travelling for Sue is researching the destination, the best way to get there, and the build up to the holiday.

She has been on a few cruises and loves to go to bed in one place and wake up in another, and then have the adventure of exploring. As a family Sue also likes to sail and a number of years ago she did a sailing course in Gibraltar. She says that learning navigation on the sea was fascinating, although she admits that she wasn’t much good at driving the boat but was happy to be part of the crew!

Sue likes to make things better. Hard work is usually involved but she says the pleasure she gets from turning an overgrown garden into something beautiful, or painting a rusty fence so it looks new is well worth it.

As a pensions administrator Sue gets great pleasure in gathering all the information together to be analysed so that financial planners can present to Lifetime clients.

Sue feels fortunate that, towards the end of her career, she is at Lifetime, in the pensions department with her extended family.
