Lifetime director Rupert is originally from Leicester. He studied at the University of Leeds 37 years ago (“I’m still regarded as a ‘Yorkshire incomer’”, says Rupert) and has worked in financial services for 34 years.
He has been at Lifetime for 17 years and operates within pensions and corporate advice – an area, he says, that offers ‘varied and interesting challenges’!
Outside of work, Rupert’s wife and two daughters keep him ‘occupied’ (to say the least) and as a family they enjoy holidays and travelling, getting outdoors with dog Fletch, and are keen supporters of Leicester Tigers – although that has become ‘more of a trial than a pleasure of late’ admits Rupert!
Family means everything to Rupert and he believes that everyone should ensure a great work/life balance above everything else – although, as Rupert readily admits, ‘it is always nice to find a quiet corner with a good book!’
