Neil is married to Janette and they have two grown-up children each from previous marriages. His passions outside work are predominantly keeping fit and listening to music.
Neil enjoys doing a weight training regime every morning, Monday to Friday, that he says will hopefully keep him strong and healthy. That’s the theory anyway, he adds!
Neil’s favourite band is Wishbone Ash. They are a very important part of his life and he knows two of the band members personally. He has seen the band perform over 120 times since their coming together in late 1969.
“They play a unique brand of melodic rock with two lead guitarists who are amazing musicians and performers,” enthuses Neil.
Other bands in that genre that he likes are Pink Floyd, Santana and Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Regarding work, Neil views himself as a team player who can and often does work in isolation on specific projects to help grow the business. Since being at Lifetime his job title has remained constant but his activities have been very varied, including recruitment of financial planners; managing some of those planners through training and development; generating and maintaining strong relationships with external professional introducers; and developing and delivering inheritance preservation seminars and other lead generation initiatives.
Neil is adamant that, in all his long years in the finance industry, his time at Lifetime has been the most enjoyable. He says he has felt part of something special as the company continues on its journey to provide and continuously improve a dedicated financial planning service to people which help change their lives for the better.
I would just like to give my sincere thanks to Lifetime and their digital service. Having just left university at age 22 and starting a post-graduate position I wanted a better understanding of my financial future, and to ensure that I started saving now, into a personal pension, so that I could have options later in life. My customer coach, Anji, was extremely personable and made sure I understood all the details of the financial planning video I received. She helped me every bit of the way before passing me over to my financial planner Miles, who I also found to be engaging, personable and extremely capable. Lifetime offer an easy to grasp, accessible service that helps people of my age realise what their finances can and can’t do for them.
