Away from his sterling efforts in helping people get the mortgage they want, Ken loves listening to many different genres of music. His favourite is rock.

He enjoys going to see live music, his best gigs having been Queen, The Who and Elbow.

Ken is a lifelong Liverpool supporter but since re-marrying in 2008 he has also been a Huddersfield Town season ticket holder. A game of two halves you might say!

He loves walking although his dog, Charlie, is suffering with arthritis so cannot go so far. Ken completed a walking marathon in 2019 to help raise funds for Macmillan nurses. He admits it was the hardest thing he had ever done, as he had done no more than 14 miles previously, but he says it was well worth the aches and pains.
