Janet works part-time as an administrator for Lifetime, after semi retiring from working at Huddersfield University for 25 years. She also invigilates at her local school when it is the exam season.

She enjoys getting the opportunity to talk to and meet many different people from all walks of life.

Janet has always worked in the public sector and customer services. Helping others is what she does best!

When Janet is not working you can usually find her in the garden, weather permitting. Gardening is one of her favourite hobbies, along with interior design, cake decorating and baking. She loves to cook and entertaining with her friends.

She also enjoys spending time with her husband and grandchildren.

Holidays are another passion. Greece is her favourite place to be, while Filey on Yorkshire’s east coast is another place that she enjoys taking the grandchildren .
