According to the weather forecasters, there is plenty of sunshine set for these parts as the week goes on.

That’s good news for all the golfers taking part in this Friday’s Barnsley Hospice golf day at Silkstone, a charity event sponsored by Lifetime.

Over 20 teams will take part, including Lifetime and a quartet from Barnsley Football Club.

Other companies who have committed to helping the hospice cause by entering a team include: The Elevator Company, Hilton’s Electrical, Rosehill Press, DMSQD, Abbey Veterinary Group, GM Wilson Solicitors, Cooke & Mason, The Alhambra Centre, Raleys Solicitors, AG Pest Management, Gibson Booth, Yorkshire Bank.
