Lifetime’s hospice referral scheme has broken the £40,000 barrier.
The latest cash donation took the company’s referral scheme total to £40,062 – spread around 24 different hospices in the UK.
Lifetime launched their referral scheme initiative after a friend of managing director Ian Dickinson was cared for by his local hospice.
Ian said: “That left an indelible mark on me – and the people here at Lifetime – and as we were looking for ways of giving something back to the communities we live in, the hospices felt a very good fit.
“The foundation of our financial planning business has always been the strong relationships we have had with our clients. Lifetime has been built upon their loyalty and the level of service we have been able to provide. We wanted to continue this relationship, deepen it further, and give clients the opportunity to make a difference to their community, wherever that may be.
“Over the last few years the referral scheme has gone from strength to strength and we have made lots of donations to hospices up and down the UK. I am delighted to see the scheme now go over the £40,000 mark. Hopefully it will not be too long before we have given £50,000!”
