Lifetime’s hospice referral scheme has delivered its biggest cheque yet.

Since the launch of the referral scheme earlier this year, Barnsley hospice has been the recipient of three cheques of nearly £300.

That total has now soared over the £500 mark – after a fourth cheque was presented to hospice fundraiser Samantha Silverwood on Tuesday lunchtime, by members of the Lifetime admin team.

‘Lifetimers’ Lucie Haxby, Jade Chaplin, Tamsin Naylor and Scott Kershaw took time out from their busy workload to hand over a cheque for £231 (see picture below).

The Lifetime referral scheme is gathering real momentum – and Barnsley hospice say they are only too thrilled with the results!

Hospice representative Sam said: “It is just fantastic how Lifetime are supporting us. We are so appreciative and grateful for all their efforts.

“It is great to see a local company helping us in this way.”

Lifetime have clients up and down the country and the referral scheme which potentially will lead to thousands of pounds being raised for hospices, not only Barnsley but elsewhere in the country. Two further cheques are currently in the pipeline for Scarborough and Huddersfield respectively.

  • If you are happy with the service you have received from Lifetime and know of family, friends or colleagues you feel could benefit from this service; then we have found a way that will also benefit your local community.
  • For all introduced clients to Lifetime, we will donate, on your behalf, 10% of any initial fees generated on new transactions completed with these clients, to your local hospice.

Please contact the Lifetime office (telephone: 01226 208600) if you would like more details about our hospice referral scheme, and thank you for your continued support.
