Apparently, the temperature of the house causes more arguments among couples and families in winter than any other subject, a survey has found.

Almost 60 per cent of couples row about heating – with women often saying it is too cold, while men moan about the cost of fuel bills.

Lifetimer Andrew would argue with the ‘women complaining it’s cold’ stat – his ‘better half’ doesn’t like to be too hot!!

On a serious note, the survey also stated that forty per cent struggle to afford their winter heating bills.

The average temperature in homes is 20 degrees centigrade.
