Barnsley hospice has hailed Lifetime as ‘great fundraisers’ – after being presented with another cheque from the Dodworth company’s referral scheme.

Hospices up and down the country have benefited from the generous referral scheme, which donates 10% of fees generated on new accounts to a hospice chosen by the person who referred them the business.

Indeed, the overall total Lifetime has given to hospices is now fast closing in on the £10,000 mark.

Lifetime has in particular built up a very close relationship with Barnsley hospice.

As well as regular donations via the referral scheme, Lifetime also sponsor the hospice’s annual golf day at Silkstone GC, and the hospice mascot, Oscar.

So it was fitting that Oscar found time to ‘bound up’ to Lifetime’s offices at Great Cliffe Court today to receive another cheque, this time for £240.00, from Communications Director William Bottomley (see picture).

A hospice representative said: “Lifetime’s continued support is just absolutely fantastic. They are great fundraisers – and do so much for the hospice, and the community, and for that we are really grateful.

“It is wonderful to see a local company help us and the place they live and work in.”
