“I build relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure quality bids are submitted.”

The former Priory School pupil goes on: “I am an ambitious and enthusiastic individual who embraces new challenges and thrives under pressure.

“I enjoy keeping busy, both in my professional and personal life.

“I currently volunteer as a school governor and am also the Vice-Chair of Barnsley and Rotherham Chamber of Commerce Women in Business.

“We’re a group of enthusiastic, energetic, enterprising women who work with the Barnsley and Rotherham Chamber of Commerce to come up with ideas and opportunities for creative, inspiring and interactive ways for women to network, learn, signpost and share with each other.

“We hold regular networking, providing a relaxed and friendly environment to meet other women to learn and share experiences, develop relationships, create business opportunities.

“We organise events with inspirational speakers who share their knowledge, wisdom and experiences. We provide a platform for sharing information relevant to women in business and specific business opportunities through our web site and social media. We also offer peer coaching meetings.

“We support and encourage women to have the confidence and means to become the best they possibly can in whatever they want to do and achieve. We believe that women should have greater opportunities to establish their own enterprises, access senior roles in business and become engaged and fulfilled citizens.

“I am also passionate about education, charity and the local community.”
