A ‘musical charity performance’ will be held at the Horizon College Theatre on Friday, May 2.

Stainborough Rotary Club, Barnsley (Rockley) Rotary Club and Horizon Interact Club have come together to proudly present the Barnsley U3A Choir in a musical extravaganza (from 7.15pm).

Following last year’s sell-out performance at Worsbrough Sports Centre, Barnsley‘s U3A choir are performing this year at Horizon Community College Theatre.

They will be singing a wide range of popular choral arrangements which include many songs from popular West End musicals.

All proceeds will go to Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice and Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research, a charity set up with the aim of beating blood cancer.

Tickets for the event are £5 and refreshments will be available during the interval.
